Have you ever wondered how you can “draw” musical imagination and creativity out of young minds? Imagination and creativity must be at the heart of music education. The first part of this presentation focuses on how teachers can activate the creative mind that is inherent in all of us. The second part of the presentation demonstrates how a teacher can take very simple ideas or themes and cocreate performance pieces with their students.
